The Mission

Our mission is to bring handmade Indian jewellery to the world, while keeping the art and heart of traditional craftsmanship alive.

Each piece is handcrafted by skilled artisans, combining heritage techniques with modern design — made to reflect the strength and beauty of every woman.
The founder

I’m Shweta Singh, the founder of Suramya Designs.

Born in Patna and nurtured in the creative world of Banasthali University, Rajasthan where I studied from the age of five and completed my post-graduation in music, art has always been my lifelong companion.

At 60, I decided to begin a new chapter — to turn my love for art, culture, and beauty into something tangible. That dream became Suramya Designs — a brand built on passion, patience, and the belief that it’s never too late to start something new.

Based in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, run by three Bihari women — Shweta, her daughter Sneh, and daughter-in-law Sucheta — Suramya stands for heritage, heart, and sustainability.

About the brand

At Suramya Designs, we believe that jewellery is more than adornment — it’s a story, a legacy, and a celebration of identity.

Our mission is to make handmade Indian jewellery accessible to the world, while preserving the art and soul of traditional craftsmanship. Every Suramya piece is lovingly created by skilled artisans, blending heritage techniques with contemporary design to reflect the beauty and strength of the modern woman.

Our vision is to empower women globally to embrace their individuality through jewellery that is crafted by hand, worn by heart, and rooted in India’s timeless artistry.
